Three years ago, I was fortunate to join a Tendrel oasis group in New York City. I was leading a very challenging transformation of a 50-year-old national non-profit and my Tendrel peers were fundamental to our success, and their insights left a profound impact on my life. I am incredibly excited to help lead Tendrel and I am incredibly excited to bring its value to every social entrepreneur across the globe.
Our founders, team members and partners have worked tirelessly the last three years to successfully expand Tendrel to 35 countries with over 400 members. While we are proud of our growth, we are all constantly pushing for a much larger impact. We were accepted from amongst 130 applications into the 10 week summer Venture Incubation Program in the Harvard Business School Innovation Lab. We completed an evaluation and assessment of Tendrel with the help of over 100 current members we interviewed. With their incredible insights and our team of 15 students, professionals, and professors from MIT and Harvard we are developing a mobile app and an entire new suite of products and resources for you.
