Peter has spent the last five years focused on the intersection of business and human rights. He strongly believes and has worked hard to narrow the gap between those that have the social knowledge and those that need it. Worker rights, social contracts, and vulnerable identities can all be improved by building capacity and helping to facilitate system change and culture change. Prior to joining Tendrel, Peter worked in an executive capacity with the Director of the Vittorio Dan Segre Foundation (Switzerland) setting the Foundation’s strategy, business plan, and go to market offerings. The VDSF has been developing a more humanistic organizational perspective that goes beyond the diversity and inclusion narrative to help public and private organizations create an enhanced culture based on the peaceful coexistence of identities. Prior to that, while getting his full-time JD at Fordham Law School, Peter was a legal and policy intern at The International Corporate Accountability Roundtable (ICAR) where he focused on the Living Wage, the Business Case for Corporate Sustainability and the Business Case for Social Disclosure. Additionally, Peter while working with the International Labor Rights Forum, at Fordham’s CSR clinic, built a comprehensive business guide to address and ultimately eliminate trafficking by identifying key areas of risk for business and suggesting steps beyond minimum compliance through the examination of human trafficking in the sugar industry. Peter is an active member of the ABA’s Business and Human Rights Project Advisory Board and in that capacity has twice attended the UN Forum on Business and Human Rights in Geneva. Peter has been a member of YPO for 20 years, and prior to his exit from his company and the start of law school in August of 2015, was the Chairman and CEO of a large travel management company. Peter was nominated by his peers and led a global board representing 80 travel partners from 70 countries and traveled the world for its meetings and conferences. It was a role that was prescribed for 2 years but Peter held it, in fact, for 10 years. Peter has an MBA in Management from NYU Stern.
